Safety & Sanitization Protocols
Safety is our number #1 priority at Five Islands Water and Amusement Park.
We have implemented an extensive Health & Safety Opening Plan with strict safety protocols to ensure that we maintain the health and safety of our guests and staff while at our Parks. Some of these safety measures include:
Closure of our amusement park arcade indoor space to offer one large outdoor park experience with both water and amusement attractions as an introductory opening campaign offer.
Temperature testing on entry.
Additional hand washing and sanitizing stations and showers installed throughout the park.
Guests are asked to practice good hand hygiene and follow COVID-19 personal hygiene guidelines.
Guests must wear a face mask at the park (except when in water or going to and from water attractions)
Guests must practice social distancing - stay 6 feet apart from persons not in your group and follow social distancing markers around the park
Furniture will be spaced out to observe social distancing guidelines
Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing regimens of all furniture, equipment, attractions, hard surfaces
All Staff have been properly trained on standard operating park procedures, lifeguarding and COVID Safety Measures.
Our new Five Islands Water Park meets all international sanitization standards for pool water chemistry management and water safety. We use a sophisticated filtration and sanitization system that kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria in water.
CDC, Centres for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines state that “There is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, or water playgrounds."

What safety measures has Five Islands put in place during this COVID-19 period?
What will happen if I have a high temperature?
Will I be required to wear a mask or face covering?
Yes. You will be requested to wear a mask to enter and while in the park, except for when you are in the water, swimming or on any of the water rides and attractions.
Will there be face coverings/masks available for purchase?
Yes. We do have masks on sale for $10 each.
What is considered an appropriate facial covering for my visit?
According to the Ministry of Health and CDC Guidelines, suitable and effective face coverings should completely cover an individual’s nose and mouth.
What about face coverings when guests are eating?
We have arranged our tables and seating to observe physical distancing protocols, so that guests can remove their face coverings while they eat together with their group.
Will I be required to wear my face covering while on the rides?
No. The face covering is not required while on the rides and especially not required while in the water or on the slides.
How will people practice social distancing at the park?
At the park, we have social distance markings on the floor and staircases for all queues and for the various attractions. We ask that you follow these markers as a guide. We will also have our staff reminding people to practice social distancing between groups and encouraging people to sanitize and wear their masks when in certain areas of the park. Please pay attention to the various signs and park service announcements when in the park that will guide you.
Will you be operating the park at a certain capacity?
Will I be required to do anything before entering the park?
Yes. You will be required to have your temperature taken, wash your hands, and have your bags checked. Children will be measured to determine their height before entering the park.
